For so long, we have been told our body is not enough,
Not the perfect body,
like the one in the magazine.
Too big, too fat, too slim, too old, too young…
For so long, we have heard body pleasure is not pure,
Not for good girls,
like the ones going to be the perfect wives;
Too dangerous, too forbidden, too shameful, too early, too late…
For so long, we have been treated like our body is just a product
like the one selling cars, calendars or cigarettes,
Not the one to be honored.
Too submissive, too earned, too wild, too shiny…
For so long, we have been explained our body needs to suffer,
To be pretty, to give birth, to fit…
Not just curving freely.
For so long, we have been told our body needs to turn off,
Not making noise or movement,
like a little girl sit quietly on her chair.
For so long, we have been told our body is not….
We change all those beliefs and stand up for a new relationship with our body?
We accept our body the way it is?
We start to really discover our body?
We move it, expand it and make waves with it?
We transform our body in a temple?
and most of all
WE FIND PLEASURE, TAKE PLEASURE, GIVE PLEASURE, ENJOY PLEASURE
Because perhaps nobody told it to us but we have right to:
